Hi everyone, I have worked in same company for 6 years now. Last year I did 1 year MA in Open University online and it was quite expensive. I had heard that I can apply for tax back that I am owed from what I paid in tax via my job and my college masters.

Do I just fill out a p21 form and send it off? I would like to apply for any tax I am owed for the last 6 years if that makes sense, not just 2016. Thanks a million. I find this process so confusing, there's P45s, emergency tax, relief and all sorts :s

You can't apply for 6 years, just 4.
You can claim back against medical expenses using a separate Med 1 form for each year ( so 2016, 15,14,13)
Your GP should be able to give you a printout of what you and your spouse spent in each year. If you had any thing else like physio etc you can claim for that
Your chemist should have a printout of what you paid there too.
Look up the address of your tax headquarters on revenue.ie and include copies of p60s for both you and your spouse for each of the 4 years, the Med 1 forms and a letter from you asking for your/your spouse tax liability to be reviewed .
