Came across above today in self build &Improve magazine and can't see any mention of it on any previous threads on here. They are based in Tyrone and product looks to be on the market for 3 years or so.

Looks to be a plastic endcap placed at junctures where floor meets the wall and can be sealed up with airtightness tape. It also mentions that it's ideal for where blocks meet hollowcore slab which is an area that causes a lot of problems for people in wrapping these junctions and getting them airtight.

Web details are below for people to find out more about product.

    OP, is the title misleading?
you mention cold bridging, but the body of you post, and a cursory look at the website suggests its about airtightness, which, as far as I know, with my limited experience in this space, is not the same
OPPerhaps you might be kind enough to clarify and revert
    Thanks

    Hi calahonda,

They refer to cold bridging in the magazine article but it applies more to airtightness. Unfortunately my knwledge in this area is quite limited but I have changed the thread title.

Anyone who can offer any feedback on this be much appreciated.

Thanks, yes it looks like its A/T is the main focus.
Re the timber floor example, using a wall plate and metal hangers will give a much easier detail to work with.
Er the H/C end wrap, fine in the lab but wold be difficult on site to crane in the end of the H/C under that upper return.

    Anyway, why do you ask?
Are you building or selling this stuff LOL

Grand, I am not knocking the stuff but I started working on site in 1975 so I have a bit of experience with this sort of stuff on site, where it is often wet, windy, cold: not too many white lab coats!!
Anyway keep us in the loop as you progress with your plans and the sooner you ask in here in the process the better. you can see that from other threads
