    Hi, I'm loath to buy anything brand new unnecessarily.

    I know the tyre has to be new, but the trainer is second hand and I want to see if I can get a home turbo training arrangement set up without overspending, especially when the ole neighbours will be getting the last word on whether it gets to stay or not.

    I have a tyre already.

    Am I allowed to reply to myself to bump this back up?

    A rear wheel, or a pair of old road bike wheels, must be round, that is all. Turbo requires 100% roundness, I have observed.

    Please don't help me, I'm just here coz I love putting myself out there on the Internet. (Maybe some complex reverse psychology might work....dunno.)

    At least I will be able to say I tried!
