    Hi

We have invoices and payments bits of paper everywhere and I am not doing one of those end of year scrambles.

Can anyone recommend an online accountancy package was thinking of using QuickBooks but not sure if there is a better one for farming. Any recommendations?

    Thanks!

I don't use it, yet anyway, but hearing a few good reports about http://www.cashminder.ie/
From what I know it's the crowd who make Agrinet are doing it for free. Specifically tailored for farming.
Can't say personally if it's any good thou

I don't think it's free as you need to be a customer of agrinet to use it.

Just signed up there and no link to agrinet with it. Looks pretty decent at a first glance, handy import features

Is there a yearly fee or do you just pay for support or how does it work?

Seems to be completely free from what I can see. Not sure is that just to get people onto it or not. Have linked up my bank and coop to it atm and seems like it will make the accountants job very easy. From first few hours at it looks like something I will continue to use into the future.

I'd say there is a catch somewhere here are the Terms and conditions

•If a farmer decides to stop paying an annual fee for access to the www.cashminder.ie online software, the farmer and their advisor will still be able to access all the data for a period of at least one year. New data cannot be entered in this situation.

I currently use Big Red Book for accounts/VAT returns, but my computer's hard drive crashed so am thinking about changing to a different system while I get things sorted.
What do you guys have/recommend? Have dairy, beef and tillage and need something easy to follow with a VAT function.
I'm thinking about going with Kingwood? Any thoughts?
