    Anyone know what this means? I've never subscribed to these but they appear on my time line.

    Have I been hacked?

    Thanks for the reply. Nope - Never followed them.

    That syn tab was not ticked on my settings...

    You haven't followed them in Twitter. But have you followed them in any other contacts list that you have synched with Twitter (eg email, Facebook).

    I occasionally get messages like that when someone I know outside Twitter signs up to use Twitter.
