Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone used wordpress or a multilingual website primarily in Irish but with ability to switch over to Irish or is it better to have 2 versions of each page?

there are plugins for this I would try them on a test server and see which one worked best for me

if it is only a couple of pages you could just link them manually

It probably would be a good few pages and some products for sale.
Wondering of anyone was happy with the translation that a plugin would give?

A plugin would not translate the page but would allow you have a site in multiple languages. This would allow you to have the same menu items and links in the chosen language.

The Polylang plugin is useful for a multilingual site. For each site page and post you then create an equivalent page or post for each language your site will support. It's a good bit of work.

Alternately, install GTranslate and let users translate the content with Google Translate. Obviously the quality of translation is hit and miss.

    It's, IMO, the best.
