How many 15-17 month old heifers would i be able to graze on a 21 acre field. the field is good dry meath land, reseeded 4 years ago and lime applied 2 years ago. it is not overly sandy or dry and not prone to drought in summer. if anyone reads or knows gerald pottertons type of land from farmers journal it would be very similar, im over the hedge! he discribes it as "heavy" from tillage perspective, i hope thats enough info.

im thinking of spliting in two or three paddocks. i finish all heifers so these cattle would be weanlings now to go in again next november and finish in second summer at grass about 27-30 months
