    Hey all,
Work on my house extension is about to begin and although I'm still quite a few weeks off I am stressing over floor choice.

It's going to be about a 30sqm open plan area with an ivory shaker kitchen and walnut laminate worktop. The area will also have a bathroom and pantry/utility.

I've pretty much settled on tile and within that I'm leaning towards a wood effect but I'm open to more suggestions.

Has anyone used these tiles for an open plan area, would anyone have any other ideas? I've hit a wall here and I think I have exhausted pinterest.

The LVT (luxury vinyl tile) market is becoming more accessible by the day here. Traditionally Amtico/Karndean would be the go to choice, but now you can buy versions that are more accessible and well within the price point of tiles. (Make sure you account for fitting/adhesive/grout etc on both).

It may not be for you, but its certainly becoming a very popular alternative.
