    Can anyone recomend a good broad spectrum dry cow mineral. Have been using the glanbia one but just want to get a couple of quotes maybe save a few bob. Cows bloods came back sll within normal parameters. Thanks

    I wouldn't necessarily go with the cheapest one. I'd examine spec of a few and see which contain high mineral inclusion rates and maybe check if the minerals are in chelated (protected) form.

    I am using a precalfer dry mix with no calcium. Which I shake on the silage and himalayen salt. They are going mad for the salt

    You have a dry cow mineral that's working well for you and you want to change??? Forget about bag/tonne price. Only basis for cost comparison is price/cow/day. After that if cost is your driver you need to compare ingredients but I wouldn't be changing.

    Yeh freedom i didnt change and wasnt going to i wss looking for recomended minerals to price in order to hammer down price of one im getting. Bought all my mineral for the precalving period today and saved almost €100 euro almost 5 per bag.
