Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
I have a new WP website- http://abstractabstract.com/ and want to add multiple images that I already have in another WP website. E.g.https://wordpress.org/plugins/import-external-images/

I've noted that there's a few WP plugins that can copy content and image. Is there any advantage/disadvantages to adding the image manually to the new site vs. using a plugin?

    Thanks,
    Pa.

No real advantage other than the plugin would probably save you time, never used them so couldn't be 100% sure.

If the original site and the new site are different and you're just re-using some images there probably isn't much to be gained using a plugin.
Most of the plugins I've seen for moving images etc., have been more aimed at people moving sites between servers etc., where you'd want to get all the images into exactly the same place etc

a plug in will save you time! you should be able to drag and drop them all in!

Plugin is better option for you rather than random process, you save your time also by using plugin.
