Rip offs

We all know Gas is odourless and has the scent added for "safety" but does anyone stop to think how much space that smell is taking up in our gas suppy? How much gas is being watered down with smells added I don't know but I bet it's a lot and I bet we're being screwed.

Anyone got any other examples of rip offs?

    Aero.
Their unique selling point is that they have padded out a Dairymilk with air.

And they charge extra for it.

    0.5 - 1%

Whenever I stop to think about something I usually find the answer on Google.

    Polo empty in the middle.
Some marketing genius made a product of the "polo holes" a few years back - no idea if they're still available, but it was clever!

Wait til you see the prices for Black Sabbath and Phil Collins......... :D

Did nobody think of drink? I've started noticing that restaurants (not really pubs) have started sneaking in American pint glass sizes (473ml) rather than the traditional Imperial pint (568ml). 95ml less for the same price, very close to a fifth of a pint less.

Get onto the weights and measures division of the government, that sounds illegal what they are doing.

Paying to go for a piss at Busaras.

Paying 20 cent for a sachet of ketchup that will cover about 3 chips.

    Ha, really?

Last time I was there, a few years back, there was some defunct turnstile of sorts, but no charge. The jacks is (or was?) like walking into Satan's bathroom, state of it. Like the toilet in Trainspotting.

What kinda poor suffering junkie would need to go for a piss in busaras?

People can help you pat. You don't need to degrade yourself.

If you got a high dose of oxygen you'd know all about it. You'd be like a human on turbo mode. Living life in the fast lane x5 or you might just die or explode on fire or something mad like that.

Sky/VMI etc. The basic packs are basically FTA with a few ****e extras, and the sports packs prices would induce nosebleeds.

Your going to the wrong shops, you get 3 cards in euro store for 2 euro. Or Lidl and Aldi do lovely cards for half that price.

Any type of chopped anything from the supermarket or shops is usually a rip off.

Chopped carrots 2€ a bag for 200g vs 1kg of carrots for 59c for example.

As another poster posted that's an illegal unit of measure for alcohol in Ireland. Complain to Customs and Excise and that will be sorted in a hurry!
