Full HD is 1080p and HD ready is usually 720p, what this means is the picture is clearer on full HD TVs. With the pound so weak, I'd suggest looking on Amazon.co.uk for good deals

+1 for Full HD,you absolutely wont be getting the most from a PS4 with a HD ready setup

If I was getting a tv for gaming would ultra hd and Motionflow XR 1000Hz be good enough thanks

I'm not sure there would be massive difference between 720p and 1080p on a small screen unless you are sitting very close to the screen.
But for your budget you can get a 32inch 1080p tv

This would probably be about 160 after parcel motel 32inch 1080p led
Note these TV's are refurbs and returns
I have ordered 3 TV's from tesco direct and all have been fine like new just damaged boxes usually

It looks fine. I wouldn't spend too much if it's for a young un'.

looks good, only thing is it doesn't have a displayport but that won't make a difference if you are not planning to attach it to a gaming PC at some stage

As keyboardcat said above the resolution won't make a massive difference on a smaller screen. If you were going above 30in then it would be worth considering FULL HD.

Also for gaming a 22in is a little bit small.

This one is 28in HD Ready and a little outside the budget (approx €190 delivered) but LG is a good brand.

LG 28MT48DF 28 inch HD Ready TV

Yes otherwise you should be using a CRT TV and not have wasted your money on a 4K TV for a PS3. PS3 only upscales to 1080p too most of the time, half 4K resolution and it's native 720p.

HDMI is the only way to go for everything.
