SKY Sports News HQ HD (Ireland) free test stream for non-subscribers

I am NOT a current SKY satellite tv subscriber but I do have an FTV card inserted in my Sky+HD box which gives me the UK>London epg listings.
However; in recent days, I've been able to watch a live stream of Sky Sports News HQ in HD using the following parameters:

10.876 gHZ
V
23.000
2/3
DVB-S2
8PSK

Channel ID Label is "2222"

10:00am "Test 15599 off" so hard to know how long more this test will be possible to view if you are not a Sky subscriber. Not too often these days that Sky allow non-subscribers to view tests of channels normally kept behind a paywall.

Nothing showing on my FTA receiver today.
I can see the '2222' but nothing received.

It was working for me before lunchtime today and over the past few days. Apparently, it had been showing other material prior to Sky Sports News HQ according to posters on another forum. Following your post, I checked it again a moment ago and unfortunately it's no longer working for me now either. In fact, I can't even pull up any other channels on this frequency parameter either at the moment.

Good News to report!

I've since discovered that there has been a "Transponder Change" which would explain why "2222" test was not being received since yesterday afternoon.

Note: 10.876 V is now off air and removed
I recommend that you first delete the old "2222" label if you still have it stored under the "Other Channels" menu on a Sky+HD digibox.

In order for you to view the free test stream for "SKY Sports News HQ HD" (Ireland) under Label ID: "2222" you will now need to do a new manual tuning search under the following parameters:

12.285 V SR 29500 FEC 8/9 DVB-S2 QPSK

I've inputted these settings and I'm pleased to report that I am currently able to view the live stream at 12:08pm on today Thursday 19/01/2017.

Ok, I gather the FTV Card (Freesat from Sky) is allowing me access to this test as I don't have any form of subscription taken out with Sky. It's not often users of the FTV Card can get access to such tests for those Sky branded channels that are usually found behind a paywall.

U get a few extra channels like, 4Music, Sony entertainment channel and it's timeshift version, Sony Movie Channel and it's timeshift version, YESTERDAY+1 and not much else if I recall. U can also tune in some of the local UK tv channels like London Live, Made in Liverpool, STV Edinburgh etc;
