iPod Nano Radio Quality

Hi. Can anyone tell me what the radio quality is like on the iPod nano?
Regarding reception mainly! I may get one for my Mum to use on her walks. Want to know if it tends to drop in and out of reception when moving from one place to another.

from what I recall the aerial is used by the use of headphones etc so reception is good. At least it was on previous models.
