Land Registry Mapping Practice Query

I know that Land Registry Maps are not conclusive as regards boundaries.

If a property has overstated its entitlement on its Folio Map,
is it possible for a neighboring property, on first registration, to have a Map
Area that effectively overlaps the first property?

For example consider an Urban Place Map. Where an Urban property is next
to an Agricultural Field property, and the boundary between the two is an agricultural
boundary rather then a wall, the true boundary will not appear on an Urban Place Map.

Registering that agricultural property using an urban place map then overlaps
    the neighboring urban property.

Can the urban property, lets say with an updated Urban Place Map where the boundary
is made visible by building a wall, submit an LR plan area that overlaps the area of the agricultural property?

Or are applications tested to ensure they don't overlap neighboring LR areas?
