    Hi,

I work from home and I'm a florist, really struggling finding a work space at the minute and I'm considering insulating my garden shed.

I need to keep the shed COLD, as in the summer that shed gets hot, hot, hot!

Any ideas on how, if at all this is possible?

Paint it white first off, roof included, cheap and cheerful solution and should drop it a few degrees.
Have you room to stack a couple of fridges in it? You can source them for free at a recycling place (or your local electrical shop WEEE returns). Even turned off they should keep the flower temp low enough to last you a while. If they do work turn them on for a few hours when it hottest.

Without air conditioning you are not going to get it all that cold, but the same insulation that will keep it frost free in winter will keep it cooler in summer. Easiest way is to get sheets of rigid insulation, cut to size and push between the structural supports inside. Remember you will need some ventilation as well as some sort of blind or curtain to keep the sun out in summer. It would probably be a good idea to put in some vents to allow air to flow through.
