Internal Soil Stack Issue

    Hi,

Hoping someone can offer some advice/suggestions to fix an issue with the soil stack in my house. Apologies if this is the incorrect forum.

The soil stack runs through the middle of the house. The original install was a bodge job. They placed flexible corrugated plastic pipe over the 4” PVC and “sealed” it with duct tape. This corrugated pipe is then vented through a roof tile. Condensation generated within the pipe runs down it and has damaged the wall.

Ideally I would have extended the soil stack up into the attic and bought a tile vent hose or a durgo valve, but there is a joist in the way (presumable why the builders used the corrugated pipe).

Can someone recommend a suitable coupler to join these two together that will form a proper seal?

    Thanks
