5k Event in April/Early May in the North Kildare Region

    Hi,

    There's going to be a couch to 5k program running in our secondary school this term. We will have our own 5k in March and will be encouraging our students to take part in Parkrun. However we're trying to see if there is an official event we can bring a group to that they can work up towards this year and they can have a celebratory day out as a group. Ideally it would be within an hour of North Kildare (so that can include Dublin etc) and would be friendly to lower levels of fitness though they should all be jogging at least by then.

    Would anyone have suggestions?

    clongowes wood college 5k...date tbc but usually on around then...email popup races for info

    There's one being planned on 1st April in Donadea - no details as yet but keep your eye out for it

    Thanks everyone. They all look great! I'll keep an eye out for a colour run or something but they all seem to be later in the year. A proper timed race will be grand!
