hi all ..im just looking to find out if its possible to pipe water from a outside tap via a hose into the cold feed of the washing machine..ive relocated the machine to a outside shed to make room in the house..would make it alot easier than trying to pipe water from insde the house to the shed

it should work. not sure why you would want but its up to you.
i would get a wall mounted tap and run it backwords (water in rather than out) then into a washing machine valve.
this way you can disconect the hose if you want to use it for something else
