Xperia M unlock

Hi All I'm attempting to unlock a Xperia M. I have the code provided by three, I've put the foreign sim in and entered the code. I get a message that it has been successful but keeps asking for the code again Has anyone had an issue like this and we're you able to resolve? Thanks
