    Hi
Since flickr could be in the toilet in the next year I was looking for an alternative site to back up my photos,
I was looking at 500px - they have a migrating tool that you can supposedly transfer photos from flickr - 500px.
Howwver it seems that the way it does this is download to your PC/device and then reupload them to 500px - seems
crazy that it wouldn´t bypass this but there you go.

Any service out there that will transfer them (online) ?

Ive just wasted $25 by being sold a 500px account under false pretenses.

Verizon have bought yahoo ... the future is uncertain of flickr - either way flickr aren't a backup service, they are a photo management/sharing service -its not a secure place to store photos..

This is really fantastic , it is exactly what I was looking for.

There are paid accounts and free - for free is grand for me (slow , 1 file at a time, it will take about a week to backup my flickr account to amazon)

They have a lot of cloud services you can transfer your files to/from ..
flickr, google, dropbox, oneDrive, amazon - including Amazon S3 I was surprised to see.

Right now I am dumping my flickr photos to amazon, I have prime membership - according to this it´s unlimited for photos - did someone mention on here that this includes RAW ?

And 500px refunded me the $25 !!! so winner winner chicken dinner !!!
