Boiler operation?

We recently moved into an a rental apartment with GFCH but need some advice on its operation as there are no instructions in the apartment and I wasn't able to find the operations manual on the net. It is an Immergas Victrix Zeus (picture attached) boiler and it heats rads and water. A separate timer starts the heating.

The problem we are having is that the showers are cold when we get up in the morning but we don't know how to resolve it as we do not have the manual. The current settings are as per the attached picture. Could someone have a look at the picture and please let me know what I need to change to have hot water in the mornings?

First off, the water pressure on the boiler is too low, the right hand dial is indicating zero bar pressure and this is most likely why the boiler is not operating.
Under the boiler there is a filling valve to increase the pressure. I cannot remember, but it is either a black circular knob about the size of a 1 euro coin, or a small lever, usually in the centre area.
Open this valve to increase the pressure on the dial to approx 1.25 bar no more than 1.5 bar and switch the boiler off and back on to reset it.
On that boiler the hot water is automatically generated once the power switch is pointing to either position with the tap symbol.
The time clock usually only controls timing for the radiator heating, which will only operate if the power switch is at the tap / radiator position.
If all else is ok with the boiler and it is wired correctly it should function fine once the system pressure has been restored.

Is this the valve? There is nothing that could go wrong and leave us without heat/hot water if I did it incorrectly is there?

That round one is it. Just turn it anti-clockwise to open and allow water into the system. At the same time watch the black needle on the right hand gauge. As soon as it passes the 1 bar line, close off the valve.
Do you have hot water in any of tge taps, or is the hor water issue only at the shower?

I turned that valve (anti-clockwise as if you were looking up at it) as far as it would go, nothing happened. Does it need to be turned on first?

The water does be luke warm in the shower and the whb beside the shower in the mornings.

No, it should fill with the boiler off or on.
Might be best to give the RGI who serviced it last year a call and get him out to take a look at it.
