Car not on the VRT list - Infinity Q50

    Hi all,

I would like to buy an Infinity Q50 car from the UK however, Infinity cars are not showing on the VRT list therefore I don't know how much the VRT is going to be.

Has anyone experienced this or can anyone advise me how to go about figuring out the VRT on the car - I obviously want to find out before I travel up or over.

    Thanks,
    Niamh

Can't answer your question apart from saying that revenue can just pull a figure out of the sky and charge you that. There just aren't any around to compare with. It's a huge gamble.

Also. are you sure you want an Infiniti? Have you been in one or driven one yet? Charles hurst has one for sale in Dublin. Incidentally if that sells, you'll then have the model on the vrt calculator.

€26k for a 151 with depreciation harder than a Rubiks cube means it might be there a while.

    Hi there,
I was going to get one from the UK, I can get a 151 for £13 - €15k - probably in March when Ms May pulls the trigger on BREXIT and the pound drops a bit.
I test drove that one in Citywest, nice car by all accounts, I was a bit concerned by the reviews online but to be fair, it is a smooth car with reasonable poke (not as good as my 520d obviously).

What's the emissions figure on it?

There's one for sale in Naas Road Autos. Nice looking car, Has a bit of a BMW look from the side, I think. Depreciation & parts could be an issue.

    Hi Niamh,

Did you end up getting an Infinity in the end? If so, how did you get on.

Seriously considering one myself in the not to distant future.
