I'm wondering, is anyone else going down the path of CPA? I've completed the retired Accounting module and Management in Organisations successfully with Economics and Law remaining. Of course I'm doing these as part of a course, so it makes it much easier.

While I've seen threads on CIMA, ACCA and ACA, I've yet to see anything relating to CPA and CTA.

I'm also contemplating the Taxation Technicians course through the Irish Tax Institute if viable financially.

    Any thoughts anyone?

I have done the Tax Technician Income Tax & Payroll module and in the middle of the other 3. Once you get going its a very manageable course but you do need to put a lot of work in. Revenue and the Institute are working closer and closer.

My advice is to do the Income Tax & Payroll first then Corp Tax and the VAT & Corp Tax together if you have never worked in tax before.

Income Tax & Corp Tax overlap alot!
