Scavenger Hunt around Dublin City

    Hi all,

A friend has a group of 8 friends over from Liverpool for a weekend soon, their first time in Dublin or Ireland, and I have decided to make them a kind of Scavenger hunt around the city for a Saturday activity that wont only involve drinking around temple bar. Its a group of girls in their late 20's, willing and up for anything.

I'm sure there are a few companies already organizing these for tourists, and I've come across a few old threads on something similar but I'm hoping to make as current as possible.

Reckon the starting point would be with them all renting a Dublin bike for the day, so they can get around most of the city easily. Maybe give them an egg that they have to return in one piece at the end.

The starting list of Items I have for them to gather is below. Any additional ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated!

    Reciept from
    Auinger Danger Donut
    Supermacs
Most interesting item you can find in Dealz
    The 7D cinema
    A shot in Panti Bar
A Tullamore dew in The Quays
A baby Guinness in The Templebar
A Jameson in the Dawsons Lounge
A cocktail in Peruke and Periwig
    A Guinness in Keoghs
    A toasted sandwich from Grogans

    A Picture…
    Holding the Spire
    With Molly Malone
With a Why go Bald Sign
    With A Guinness Logo
    With Phil Lynnott
    With James Joyce
    With the Famine Memorial
    With a Guard
    With a dead Dinosaur
    Underneath a cloud of Umbrellas
    Participating in the Last Supper
    On a swing in Sophies
With Samuel Beckett in the Background

Planking as inventively as possible (Highest points to most inventive)
Horsemaning as inventively as possible (Highest points to most inventive)
Of as many ppl conga lining as possible (1 point per person included)
Get someone to take a picture, then get them to get in the picture... Repeat until as many ppl as possible (1 point per person included)

Isn't the Phil Lynnott statue moved at the moment? You could replace that with James Joyce ?

A Photo with Oscar Wilde (Merrion Sq park).
A photo with a Garda - probably harder than you think! Outside Government buildings is a tip though

    super idea by the way.
Hope you get the weather for it!

Ham and cheese toasted sandwich from Grogan's instead of Supermac's?

    Great idea.

What about buying something in (say) Donnybrook Fair on Baggot St?
Tourists rarely get to see that neck of the woods, and going up the canal on bikes be very scenic.
