A taxing question...

A quick, more than likely stupid question...

On paye anytime, when you select a year (2015 in this case) and it shows you the 'Your Tax Credits' tab, there is a column 'Gross Relief Due'.

For PAYE Tax Credit it shows 1650
For Rent Tax Credit it shows 600.

My understanding is that the PAYE Tax Credit (1650) comes off the calculated tax i.e. after the tax is calculated.
But only 120 (20% of 600) comes off for Rent Tax Credit (see here).

If this is the case, why does it show 1650 under 'Gross Relief Due'? It does not seem to be the gross relief but the net relief. These 2 figures seem to be deducted differently from the calculated tax.
