...and aren't we so lucky that we can.

Its bloody freezing out tonight, yet there are many homeless people sleeping outdoors in sleeping bags in doorways, & in cardboard boxes. They were talking about those poor souls on the radio today.

Can you imaging sleeping out tonight?

    God help them.

I don't have central heating - which is for rich wimps. I also work outdoors - cold is merely less warm than would otherwise be the case.

This is not a joke. People will die tonight.

Indeed, Apollo 1 was fairly toasty. Almost as warm as having the heating on constant. But they were warm for the rest of their lives.

    Jammy bastards.

Homeless people? But ..... Didn't I read an empty hotel had just been snapped up to house a load of single young lads of military age?

They should get themselves off to one of the homeless shelters.

Damn right, look at the inconsiderate parking. That fcuker on the left must be parking in two bays!

Just +1nd the gaff there. Still feeling the cold air though. Chest doesn't handle anything below 2 degrees too well.

Homeless people should just take advantage of the many supports in place for them.

Anyone sleeping rough in this country are doing so by choice.

Less of a **** I could give about the homeless.

Love coming home to the house with the heating timed these days but I suspect I've just gone soft. We only had a sitting room and kitchen coal fire in the home house when I was a kid and I never froze to death.

Luck? 99.992% of us in this country are sleeping indoors tonight. So it's hardly down to luck that we are in a heated room.

Homelessness and lack of affordable housing is a growing issue, but describing people who are sleeping indoors as "lucky" is a bit morbid, or somewhat daft.

Oh dear, looks like we have a pedantic nitpicker on the loose ....

Maybe 'aren't we preveleged' might have been gramatically better?

The point I was making about those poor sods sleeping out in sub zero temperatures seemed relavent at the time (on that particular freezing night), hence I felt very lucky privileged to be able to press the +One hour boost that night, while others not so lucky privileged slept outside in the freezing cold :(
