    Hi all,

Can anyone confirm if this is the right place to keep an eye on for any orders or determinations a High Court judge made earlier today or is there a better/faster source of such info?

No. You need to look at High Court search. Many Orders (in fact the majority) are made without a written judgement being delivered.

    Thanks 4ensic15, appreciate the info.

I searched for the order I know was made yesterday relating to a commercial matter but there's no sign of it in the courts.ie system as far as I can see. I don't expect it was a written order but it is nevertheless an order of the court so I was expecting it to be recorded and placed on the public record in a timely manner somewhere but I guess thats not the case? If a judge makes a verbal order only the people in attendance get to know about it????

    Yesterday??

The registrars can take weeks to draw up an order.

I guess that shows my ignorance of the system.

Where an order is time limited and there is a wide commercial interest e.g. the appointment of a liquidator or Examiner I'm surprised (but not that surprised) a good chunk of the 70 period of protection from Creditors could already have elapsed before Creditors who were not in court can find out about the appointment. I guess it's just one example of the slow pace at which the court system moves.

Usually the high Court search logs are updated after 5pm the day of the order, so if you haven't checked it today, do so.

Feel free to pm me if you want further assistance.

Can I find the determination of the commercial court somewhere online?
