Lone Worker Telephone Panic Alarm System

    Hi All,

Looking for suitable recommendations for a panic alarm system for lone workers that directly contacts the Garda.

I have looked at some systems but there seems to be no difference to picking up the phone and calling the Garda direct? (Maybe I'm missing something, although it would be of benefit if person couldn't get to a phone or didn't have a mobile handy).

Some of the leading providers do actually say "when your telephone system is down".

Is there any system/provider, that as part of the contract/service that the Garda have to respond immediately? is that actually ever possible by contract/guarantee? I doubt it.

    Thanks for any advice/suggestions.

Chubb offer this service but it contacts them and it be set in a variety of ways ie:

    Push button and security called.
Push button every 20 minutes or police called.
    Heart rate monitor type

Unlikely the gardai will come right away but a security company would, depending on location.

There are plenty offering this service.
