Does anyone know anything about Click.ie's store renovations?

There was a sign on the door of our local store saying that it was closed for renovations but recently a sign stating that the premises was 'for let' went up.

    Is Click.ie in trouble?

Just bought and reserved an iPhone 6 from click . I hope they are still in business by Black Friday . I'm collecting it then .

Googled [I think] Samsung S6 and an ad for click showed up, had never heard of them before. Would be thinking about going the refurb route and the fact they are a chain rather than 1-shop independent store and have this 2 year warranty helps me trust them. But reading JimmyNokia's post makes me rethink it.

Can you shed any more light Jimmy? Like Homewardbound I intend buying a phone in the next day or two then prob pick it up Sunday as I am in Dublin.

    Anyone else any thoughts?

Whenever I see somewhere using those new TLDs I immediately assume they're either amateur or dodgy!

Called Click 4 times over 20 minutes at around 10:30am this morning. First time, told a voicemail box was full, another time I think it just rang out. Then I'm pretty sure twice a person answered the phone and then hung up straight away to make it stop ringing.

I know they were probably busy on Black Friday but there you go, they potentially lost out on a sale. Walked down town and got a pristine refurb Samsung S6 for €299, same price as Click.

Interesting, prominent story on the Journal of people who haven't received their purchases from Click and then Click not responding to queries. Not good, not good at all.

edit: Looks like JimmyNokia was spot on! Would love to know how you knew.

Click are gone. One month to sell existing stores are franchise or they shut shop for good.

Reliable source. It will come out if not I'll share more. People have a right to know. They are staying silent and ignoring everyone

Second article on Journal after the one above from Dec 18th. Lots of dissatisified customers.

    Gone into liquidation.

Fair play to JimmyNokia for alerting people to the possibility. I hope some people saved themselves hassle by finding this thread.

Thanks. Got some abuse but I'm in the know. Also what's not reported is that they changed directors and shifted their stock before liquidators got in. They have a plan B.
