Anyone do this in older cows?

I do it every year with maiden heifers - approximately 60 - 70% success on first service .

I have a few more second and third calvers which i am thinking of trying also, to both condense calving and use a few higher quality AI bulls.

It's probably used more in older cows than heifers which can be easily synched with Estruamte.

What does this cost? Have a bull running with cows but would like to ai the heffier with a handy bull. Not around during the week so hard to catch them.
