Hi I had a problem rad which was heating at the top but not at the middle or bottom. So took it off the wall ,drained it, flushed it out with a hose and rehung it but unfortunately it's still the same. I't a double panel rad about 1.5 m long and only about 3 years old.I would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix it as It's the main one in the kitchen . Thank you for reading

Running a hose in a rad is not a power flush. You can spend hours on one rad and still not clear it.
If there is sludge in one rad you've a good chance it's in more than the rad. Might be worth paying a professional with proper equipment to flush the system.

How well does the radiator perform if you shut off most of the other radiator's ?

If it heats 100% then sludge is not your issue.

Possibly not balanced properly/ piped properly / pump to weak.

Tom is right, highly unlikely it's sludge, the rad is just struggling for flow.
System needs to be balanced, i.e. The rads that heat up fastest need to be restricted and the Ines that struggle opened more. That's lay mans terms. Also turn the balancer on the coil as low as you dare, if your hot water cylinder is small close it fully and reopen it one turn.
Check rads. Check cylinder is still heating well. Adjust as necessary.
