    Hi guys,

So my hubby needs his own car to get to and from work. Thing is its his first time getting his own insurance as he has always been a named driver on my or his parents insurance.

Now he is 28 this yr (if that helps) but I'm just wondering. Is there much difference in insuring a van compared to a personal car??

Vans normally need hard earned NCB with some exceptions if he was named driver .

Would his profession require a van ?
Vans for personal use are rare cases.
People don't buy vans for 'personal use' but still tell Insurance conpany that all it's for, but go tell tax office difference use
