Woodlands Kitchens on Sarsfield's Road did my kitchen a few years ago and found them very helpful. Jerry Riordan, I think, is the guy's name and he came out and talked me through it.

No connection other than a satisfied client.

I'd imagine any of the independent manufacturers would be happy to call to your house.

Hi, it usually happens the other way round: you measure it yourself - it doesn't have to be a perfectly accurate measurement at this stage.

You get a few quotations from places like Cash&Carry Kitchens you mentioned or Express Kitchens or B&Q - they have a designer on site, so you book an appointment, the design process takes about an hour.

It's only when you decide which company you are choosing, and after you pay a deposit, you get their fitter to visit your house and take the exact measurements, so they can adjust the initial design.

People usually get a few quotations before they decide, so it wouldn't be feasible for the companies to send their designers over to the potential customer's house to take the measurements on site...

    Hope this helps.
