Television Recommendation

    Hi Guys

I am thinking of upgrading from current 42" and would be grateful for any suggestions.
Will only be needed for conventional tv and streaming, no gaming requirements.

    Saw the following models:

What are you're thoughts on these or are there any other models that I should be considering.
    Hey Kerry Gooner.

For me again its the 49K7000. The quantum Dot tech really is very very good indeed.

In saying that the others all still have good picture quality.

The Pana 50DX750 is also very nice as it the first in the Panasonic range to feature the 4K Studio master processor which give better colours and contrast.

The 50DX750 priced at £829.00 and the 49KS7000 priced at £849.00
Both with our VIP 6 year guarantee and delivery would be £6.99

    Hopefully this helps a little.

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks Kenny

Was about to pull the plug on the 49KS7000 but after getting out the tape measure, believe the positioning of the legs will not fit on my stand.
Option to replace the stand or upgrade to the 8000 series but significant price increase on that model, what benefits does it offer.
Regarding the Panasonic, I was wary because it is a 3D television and they seem to be less popular than before.
Does the Sony android offer any advantages over these.

    Hi Kerry Gooner.

There are a few little differences between the 7000 and the 8000.

The 8000 has 2300PQI to the 2100 of the 7000.
The 8000 has twin tuners on-board allowing Freesat and freeview/saorview to be tuned at the same time rather than a re-tune to switch between them.
8000 series also uses a technology called Supreme UHD Dimming over the 7000's ultra black tech.

Both the Samsungs are monster televisions and product excellent images. Very well reviewed and popular.

Android does look and run smoothly but everything needs tied up to a Google account. I acts just like the Google store on your phone etc so it does give more content.

And any thoughts on the Panasonic if not viewing 3D content.

    Hey Kerry Gooner.

The Panasonic's are also very nice televisions and going up to the 750 range does make a difference with the Hollywood studio tweaks.

Its hard to beat the Quantum Dot in the Samsungs though.
