    Hi,

The wife got a free tv from sky which I have put up in the kids playroom. There is no aerial point in the wall (I don't want one - there's another floor above and I don't want to start running cables down from the attic, through a bathroom and into the corner of a small room!!).

What is the easiest way to get a few channels there? Indoor aerial and saorview box? Not interested in paying virgin to install more points (get robbed enough from them every month!!). Would an android box be an option?

The TV should be Saorview compatible so you wont need a separate box. Getting an indoor aerial to work depends on how strong the signal is in that room. If you want to try, get a cheapo UHF aerial from your local Euro shop. Don't bother getting any "boosted / amplified" aerial as they are a con. This site will help
