    Hey all,

Wondering if anyone has feedback on Quick Step laminates? Are they any good? Looking for something that has a quality look and hard wearing. Their Largo range in particular. http://www.quick-step.ie/en-ie/laminate/largo

If anyone has any experience of Quick Step products, let me know?

They are one of the original manufacturers of laminate floors. I remember putting some down nearly 20 years ago. They have a very good name but I imagine are more expensive than others.

Quick step and balterio are the most recommended laminates. Both have very good reputations. We have quickstep but it's less then a year down, so far so good though.

A few years ago that would be very true. However a lot of other manufacturer's have really closed the gap since, krono being one that stands out.

Having said that quickstep is an excellent floor, our fitters love it. Their largo range is excellent, highly recommended if you can afford it.

Great, thanks for the feedback. I don't mind paying a bit more, as long as the quality is there. Rather pay more now, than paying more a short time down the road to replace a poor quality product.

I put down Quickstep flooring about 16+ yrs ago and it's still in great condition including the hallway with plenty of foot traffic.

Hi - resurrecting this one but with a twist.
Does anyone have experience of Quick-step Vinyl plank flooring? I've been looking at the Alpha range which are rigid core LVP. Looking at reviews online, quick-step looks awful, but those are about their laminate ranges. I can't find much about their vinyl.
    Thanks!

I haven't seen their Alpha range yet, we have a new LVT stand due from quickstep this week so I can have a proper look then. In general though if its a click version that you want to use, it needs to be rigid.

The main thing is that your sub-floor is nice and level, and that you make sure that you use Quickstep's own underlay.

Thanks tenbob1, appreciate that. Yeah, Alpha is a thicker spv product. Apparently it can go over irregular floors and we want to lay over our tiles.
