hi.. so this evening i was parked up outside my wifes shop.parked off the street .dropped her in food, so maybe in the shop 2-3 minutes. so i come out. jumped into the van and off i went off on my way and glancing into the mirroe i noticed the traffic warden was there behind me.i didnt stop or go back butz; my wife said the traffic warden was in the middle of issuing a ticket.. now i have used this place to park in many times often for hours at a time. the land lord maintains this area was meant to be a loading bay area and he does the same when he is using the building.. never any issue before with warden. so my question is am i in trouble. will i get a ticket.. is the ticket even legal.. does it not have to be on the windscreen. will i get it in the post and be giving a chance to pay or will i go straight to court.

The answers to your questions are: Yes. Yes. No. Yes. No. No.
    But not in that order.

Try and cut out all that court palava. Just make sure you don't pick up your 200 quid when you pass Go and you'll be grand....

Maybe if you do your job as a poster and ask a moderator of this forum if they can move it for you. Moderators from other forums have no powers around here

    Stop being a little bitch.

Being a Moderator isnt a "job". Maybe you could have been less of an asshat and posted in the Motors forum.

    Its a rhetorical question anyway.

There'd be a ticket on your windscreen. If there isn't don't worry about it.

    Are there double yellow lines?
Does the road have a continous white line?
Is it marked as a loading bay?
Does your van have commercial tax allowing you to load and unload in a loading bay?
Did you have valid tax, insurance, CVT/NCT on the vehicle and visible?

The moderator or the traffic warden?

Don't they have to observe your vehicle illegally parked for five mins just incase you've gone to pay for your parking?
Spose that doesn't fly on double yellows though, does it....
And maybe I made all that up in my head....
