    By legislation ash content.

In reality feed buckets have grains, oils, soya, urea etc replacing some of the mineral content. They're normally softer too.

I got mineral buckets the other day I'm coop. The lad behind the counter told me feeding buckets have a higher protein content and could be used for feeding instead of nuts.
I was actually surprised at how similar the mineral bucket looked to the feed bucket I used to feed last year, I wasn't expecting as much molasses
