Money certainly came for this, clearly expected to run well, but very keen, never settled and wasn't pushed too hard when obvious the horse wasn't going anywhere.

Can assume horse is capable of better, given the volume of money, so may be worth looking out for again,

That wasn't very impressive, I know the ground is testing but all the horses looked very slow up the straight. I think this is a weak bunch of horses.

Finian's Oscar? Ya, I agree. On ITV4 they are doing a Sky Sports and hyping him up with "superstar" etc.

I'm willing to shout out that the Emperor is in the nip.

An awful jump at the last as well.

    Tommy's Geal 12-1 3.30

5 place and 2 wins over this trip this year.
Has won over this C&D .
    I like it's place chances

Was as impressive as yorkhill last year if not more so in that race 8/1 in a neptune with absolutely nothing in it so far is big imo, horse won despite the trip serious animal.

All the novices hurdlers look so unimpressive this year in comparison to last. Bar death duty who runs tomorrow.

The supreme and Neptune look crap atm.

Hoping JP will run his 4yo Charli Parcs in the Supreme. 16/1 with PP at the moment.

Yorkhill travelled powerfully last year, Finians just didn't wow me, I respect his form against this years novices but if he was in last years race, he would be back somewhere with agrapart I would say.
His jumping wasn't great either, threw himself at one and overjumped another, capitaine was making ground on him over the obstacles apart from the 1 in the straight he hit obviously

Last years Tolworth was as bad and Yorkhill won 2 lengths from an unknown Hendo horse, I think this years one was probably as weak but he bolted up over a trip way short of what he needed on his second run on the track Yorkhill had bumper experience too, I wouldnt be laying 8/1 about it in the Neptune anyways nothing stand out right now.

I wonder would the comments about heskin be worth reading again when he split from BOC or was everything blamed on BOC?

Last years tolworth is actually very strong form.agrapart won the bet fair hurdle on his next start (one of the most competive handicap hurdles of the season).
He won last weekend also in a grade 2.
The unknown henderson horse (00seven)won on his next start, and won his first chase start against a decent field before running a bit flat in a grade 2 next time, still only beat a few lengths.
The horse that pulled up cyrius Moriviere also won a handicap on his next start.
And we all know what yorkhill done
To say last years race was weak is just incorrect.

Incredible drift considering the way it won, also the drift on sumos novios was crazy 4/1 last night opened 5s in the ring drifted to 10s not a penny on it few runs back it hammered empire of dirt.

18.45 - Captain K 9/2 - Thought it got a terrible ride the last day. The horse had plenty left at the end. Hopefully today's the day although it's on the drift after opening 7/2. Won't let it put me off though.

Very strange markets in cork today both on course and in running.

It's not always easy to catch Joseph OB's first time out. He seems to take a leaf out of the fathers book and is happy to leave a bit of work on them and let them come into their own. Some of the breeding on the JOB bumper horses is incredible but I tend to stay away unless I can see serious market support for them.
