    Are there still any pagers transmitting in Ireland, specificially Cork?

    Edit: The list I found was for the UK.. Doh.

    But could you tell me what freq you're hearing these on? I didn't ask the original question but I'm still quite interested.

    I don't hear anything in Galway when I had a quick look, but scanning the range doesn't really work here as there is too much interference.. I think one of my neighbours has some faulty equipment because I'm getting lots of noise every few tens of kHz.

    Think that Eirpage (Eircom/Telecom Eireann's paging service) closed down in 2011. Anything around now may well be localised (hospitals, factories malls etc.) Stil have one of those old Motorola MemoExpress pagers around somewhere.
