During my teenage years I chipped my tooth half way and the dentist basically molded some material to it and let it dry to resemble a full tooth. About 2 years ago my dentist drilled my tooth down a bit more and basically did the same thing but the fake tooth part would come up to my gum line.

Its discoloured and makescme nit smile in photos, i want to get it all redonecand have it thecsane colour as my teeth. There is definetely some real tooth left. So there is tooth for them to bond something to it.

Is a crown an option? That's about €400+ and don't want to be wasting Money on fees just for them to have a look.

I also don't want to visit my usual dentist anymore as I think he isn't very professional so can anyone recommend a good place to go on a budget around dublin 12 or even general southside area?

a restrictive budget and a good result may not be compatible.

    Can you post a picture?

Youu can't see the real part of the tooth as its covered up by whatever the dentist done. I may book an appointment for next week to see what a dentist says regarding options
