We are looking for some suggestions for a family holiday to US. We have 3 kids 8, 10 and 12. We are hoping to travel in July for 3 weeks. We spent last year holiday in Orlando and looking for some suggestions this year. We dont mind having to drive but not sure how much driving can be done with three kids. I would love to hear suggestions as adults we have seen alot of US but only travelled to US with kids once. thanks

I'd give you two pieces of advice.....

    1. July 4th falls on a Tuesday in 2017 so try to avoid the period of Fri-Tue July 1-4 as accommodation everywhere is likely to be expensive.

    2. The southern states of the US will be very hot in July. In places like Texas, that means temperatures of 40+ C in the daytime which for young people carries a severe risk of sunstroke and/or dehydration.
