Aer Lingus booking question

    My partnet is flying from cork to Heathrow to San Francisco tomorrow. Art lingus flight cork to heathrow with a bad code. The Heathrow flight to San Francisco is ba. Onlinevitably back are sending her to the aer lingus site and aerelated lingus are not recognising the reservation number. Any ideas?

    Go to BA site

    Check in for the London - SFO leg, pick a seat, get boarding card, fill in the API if needed

    If you try to check in for Cork - London with BA it should show a Aer Lingus reference number which will ALWAYS begin with 2, use this for check in on the Aer Lingus site

    In general its better just to show up in Cork at the check in desk and Aer Lingus will issue the boarding cards and handle the visa/esta check, this will make things quicker in Heathrow later as you won't need to pick up a boarding card or go through the visa/esta check again
