Attic Moisture & Moud

Got our 1990 built, 3 bed semi attic insulated last summer. Low and behold a couple of months later we noticed mold growing on some items and moisture on the underside of the felt lining the roof. We called the guy who did the insulation and suggested adding vents to to soffits which have been done. Having just been up there now I notice there isn't any improvement in the moisture situation. I'm sick with worry about what to do about it now.

Also the motorised ventilation installed by a builder in our bathroom is a bit of a joke - the room is always freezing despite having been insulated when refurbished. I'm wondering if there is any such thing as a ventilation consultant who could advise on these issues?

I'm wondering in the mean time if buying and running a dehumidifier in the attic for a few days would be prudent?

Any opinions or advice greatly appreciated.
