Time Machine not mounting in Sierra

So I upgraded to Sierra a few days ago and now can't mount my Time Machine. I have been using a partitioned Toshiba Hard Drive and the other partition is working fine. Any ideas what the problem may be?

No sign of it in Disk Utility?

It's there but I can't repair it. The repair fails.

Could be the disk on its way out. FWIW I've a 12" MacBook not on Sierra yet but had the exact same issue: TM partition wouldn't show, but other partition fine. Ended up buying a new disk.
