Coffee round of 6 - best cheap option to avoid instant coffee?

Hi,

I know there is the search function but this post is more than just the question in the title.

In work we generally do a tea or coffee round for 5/6 people. Generally it's instant coffee which is not very nice.

Would a drip coffee maker be a good alternative to this system given that I don't want to spend a lot of money?

Had thought about going down the aeropress route but read that it only makes 2/3 cups of coffee at a time.

For cups on those cafetière, just under 3 cups would be 1 mug.
