    Hi there,

I am working in finance for the last 9 years and we have been told at work that we will be facing redundancy in approx 8months time. I was studying ACCA however I have no motivation or interest in continuing it and have been contemplating a career change for a long time now.

I am about to enrol in a 6 month fitness instructor & PT course due to start in March and was wondering if anybody has any feedback on switching from business world to fitness world? I've thought about this quite hard and have done my research but word of mouth and other peoples experiences will of course be a big help!

    Any advice would be appreciated!!

    Hi op

Most of this advice comes from people much smarter and who have been training people far longer than me.

Dont quit your job you might hate it but making money as a PT is extremely tough there is a problem with over saturation for example I assume your finance job took a degree for a few years to get plus experience etc. While a PT can be 1-6 months.

Keep learning the PT cert is really the start every year I plan out new certs and things to be working on and qualifying in.

Start training people as soon as you can you learn more on the job than anything else.

Anyways best of luck I am not trying to dissuade you just trying to let you know what its like.
