    Hi there,

I am working in finance for the last 9 years and we have been told at work that we will be facing redundancy in approx 8months time. I was studying ACCA however I have no motivation or interest in continuing it and have been contemplating a career change for a long time now.

I am about to enrol in a 6 month fitness instructor & PT course due to start in March and was wondering if anybody has any feedback on switching from business world to fitness world? I've thought about this quite hard and have done my research but word of mouth and other peoples experiences will of course be a big help!

    Any advice would be appreciated!!

** Not sure how to change the forum on this!?

From what I've heard there are so many people with fitness qualifications that it is hard to make much money as a personal trainer. Not sure about jobs in gyms etc. You might have an advantage if you have a business background as you'll know how to set up your business etc
