Speaker for turntable & Bluetooth

Hey all,

I've a turntable with a phono out connection that I'd previously had hooked up to my stereo stack, but given how bulky it is, and now little I use CDs now, I thought it would make sense to replace it with a decent Bluetooth or WiFi-enabled speaker.

So can anyone recommend a good speaker that I could plug the turntable into while also streaming from my phone/tablet? I'm not looking for the highest end audio, but something that makes it worthwhile to use vinyl here and there would be good... something that looks well in a living room would be no harm either!

Make/model of the TT would be useful to check its output levels. If it has a built in pre-amp then any line level input would suffice. If it doesn't then you will need to add that to your list.

No offence but I really don't see the point of paying good money on vinyl to play it on a low-spec turntable through small speakers. That's what mp3s are for imo.

It's an Ariston ATT-420 - I have a pre-amp for it from the previous set-up with my stereo

I've a couple of boxes of vinyl that I'd like to be able to listen to if the mood takes me - which is why I'm looking for something that can be used for that as well as streaming etc from my phone.

Definitely something more like the first - looks decent. Is it worth the price?
